Grenache Chardonnay, Roc Opale
Roc d’Opale Grenache Chardonnay has a straw yellow hue. There are fresh nose with notes of citrus fruits such as grapefruit, lime and hints of spice. Round and fresh on the palate, spicy flavours with floral and mineral notes.
Grown just south east of Avignon this wine captures the spirit of the Provence. It is made predominately of Grenache Blanc, Sauvignon and a touch of Chardonnay, all harvested at night to retain utmost freshness.
The story of Roc d’Opale started in 2005, when two friends, passionate about the wines of the Languedoc, decided to join forces and create wines that would be true expressions of the region. These entry point wines capture the spirit of Languedoc and are ideal as house wines.

As with all wines on this website, this wine has been made without animal products. This is not the case with so many wines that are commonly on sale in the UK. Far too many wines have animal products used as a so-called production aid; they will often have a large array of chemical additives as well. Have a look at our page on additives allowed in wines
. Many vegan wines are also organic or better still bio-dynamically grown. The care taken in growing the grapes and making the wine comes through in the taste of the final product. This is a vegan wine.
