Grenache Merlot, Roc Opale
Grenache Merlot, Roc d’Opale is a lovely blend of smells and tastes. There is hedgerow fruit combining with fresh damson and chocolate on the nose. The wine is round and bursting with plum flavours and is incredibly easy to drink. A combination of Grenache and Merlot with the grapes generally harvested at night to retain the flavours as fully as possible.
The story of Roc d’Opale started in 2005, when two friends, passionate about the wines of the Languedoc, decided to join forces and create wines that would be true expressions of the region. These entry point wines capture the spirit of Languedoc and are ideal as house wines.

As with all wines on this website, this wine has been made without animal products. This is not the case with so many wines that are commonly on sale in the UK. Far too many wines have animal products used as a so-called production aid; they will often have a large array of chemical additives as well. Have a look at our page on additives allowed in wines
. Many vegan wines are also organic or better still bio-dynamically grown. The care taken in growing the grapes and making the wine comes through in the taste of the final product. This is a vegan wine.
