Pinot Gris, Domaine Coudoulet

Pinot Gris, Domaine Coudoulet is medium bodied and creamy, but with plenty of vitality and freshness. There are lovely juicy comice pear fruit flavours with a warm mix of nutmeg and fresh ginger soft spices.

Jean-Yves and Pierre-André Ournac, two brothers run Domaine Coudoulet in the Languedoc Roussillon region. They are the sixth generation to take over the reins. Over the last decade or so they have replanted their vineyards with parcels of Syrah, Chardonnay and Viognier. Considering this isn’t the traditional appellation for the grape varietal, the domaine is particularly known for their top quality and well-priced Viogniers.

As with all wines on this website, this wine has been made without animal products. This is not the case with so many wines that are commonly on sale in the UK.
