Description

Viognier, Domaine Coudoulet

Viognier, Domaine Coudoulet is a wonderfully aromatic, dry white wine with nuances of apple and peach. It has a round and balanced taste and fragrant aftertaste.

Jean-Yves and Pierre-André Ournac run Domaine Coudoulet in the Languedoc Roussillon region. The two brothers are the sixth generation to take over the reins. Over the last decade or so they have replanted their vineyards with parcels of Syrah, Chardonnay and Viognier. Considering this is not the traditional appellation for the grape varietal; the domaine is particularly known for their top quality and well-priced Viogniers.
Grower: Domaine Coudoulet

Serve at 8°-12°C.

Matches: summer salads.

As with all wines on this website, this wine has been made without animal products. This is not the case with so many wines that are commonly on sale in the UK. Far too many wines have animal products used as a so-called production aid; they will often have a large array of chemical additives as well. Have a look at our page on additives allowed in wines. Many vegan wines are also organic or better still bio-dynamically grown. The care taken in growing the grapes and making the wine comes through in the taste of the final product. This is a vegan wine.
